Alter Ofen is a pub that's been open since the early 1970's. The whole place can also be rented for private parties, suitable for 50 to 100 people.

Was there this evening with TT. The décor is somewhere between a real pub and a student bar. Not pretentious, and that applies to the staff too who were very friendly. There are sofas on the right side a little like a coffee bar and on the right were the stehtiches that we requested. I had eaten at lunchtime so I took a small Weiner Schnitzel. The plate arrived full size though. Yes, I had gotten larger portions but never at less than €8. Frankly, I could only just finish it. Others in the TTT group enjoyed a Tuna Salad as well as a Kase Spaetzchen. All were pleased with the results. The only minus is that the place turns into a smoking club after 2300. However, this is late enough so nobody was worried (at least on a Tuesday).
