Ultimate Frisbee is played from April to October in the English Garden in Munich on Wednesdays at 6pm, and Sundays at 2pm. We usually play for a couple of hours. The language spoken is English. The group is a mixture of TT readers and a few other folks. To join, simply see the discussion topic linked below, make a post there, and then turn up. It costs nothing to play, the whole thing is free.
What if it's raining? We'll probably still play, but check the discussion topic before you travel if you can.
Do I have to come everytime? Not at all. Play every session, play once a week, turn up and give it a go but don't bother again - whatever you fancy.
No, really, what? Check out What is Ultimate Frisbee? for more details. Basically it involves throwing and catching a frisbee while running about, generally with beer afterwards. Absolute beginners are very welcome, the game is really easy to pick up and it's a great way to get fit. If you can throw a frisbee and run about a bit you'll do fine.
Location? We change venue depending on the weather. If it is a Wednesday or on a Sunday if the weather is not so great we play just into the park from Giselastrasse U6 station. If it is a busy Sunday space is at a premium so we play further North, about 10 minutes walk into the park from Dietlindenstrasse. Venue is annouced in this thread in advance - although they are only 10 minutes apart so you can turn up at one and walk to the other if no one is there.
