Indian meal in Stuttgart

After the success (I call five people a success; I'm easily pleased) of last week's Chinese meal, I'm going to arrange another dinner out.

Delhi Palace (and oddly doubling as a Pizza takeaway - I guess the tandoor otherwise goes to waste?) on Tuebinger Strasse, near where it's joined by Silberburg Strasse. I know one person who's been there and says it's OK. I picked it partly because of that and partly because I live close by and want to try it.

So ... Thursday 19th, 7:30pm. Please post here if you can make it. I doubt we'll need to book but it means that at 7:30 those that arrive on time (oh, did someone come late last week? :-) can grab a table of the right size.

I would also be very interested in trying out the local Indian options here in Stuttgart. Been working here for 6 weeks now and have hardly tried any of the local eateries. What have I been doing!?

Yep! Just turn up. There's going to be around 8-10 of us I think. Excellent.

There were 10 of us and we had (in my opinion anyway) a great meal. Food was good, was asked if we wanted it spicy and mine came suitably well done, and service was friendly. As there were only two other people in the restaurant that wasn't surprising. We ordered different dished and they all looked different (not like some of the mediocre places where everything just looks like a red spicy tomato sauce).

We then walked to Schlossgarten, to the beer garden to catch the end of the match.

One thing which was pointed out is that my asian food events clash with the Irish pub events, also on a Thursday. As I'm the newbie, the next meal will be Wednesday next week. I'll start a new thread.
