I'm a fellow sinner, marooned pretty darn close to you. I've got a friend in Landau, as well. And there's another in Speyer. Actually there are quite a few of us spread about around here.

And (the reason I found your post), I was just about to post something about the Deidesheimer fest this weekend. About a dozen of us will be headed there tomorrow night. It's one of the better wine fests.

I know that it is late. Have you found work? Are you looking for English folks or just folks who speak English (any form)? I live in the area and enjoy meeting English speakers when I have time.

I live in Worms, I´ve been here about 3 weeks, and am living as a "hausfrau" until I start my job in January. I would love to meet other people! I mean anything that isn´t an inanimate object would be great to talk to!!! MI have no idea where germersheim is, but my fiancé says its close to where we live, so if there are meetups I´d be greatful to get into them! :-D
