I can't run fast and I certainly can't throw the ball but luckily I can usually whack the ball well and I have a darn good stretch if playing First Base. I am off to the north of Spain on Wednesday but will be back mid July should there still be some "game." Oh, and unlike Dan, I am a "girl" (it could be argued that I am a woman but for the sake of the game I will acquiesence).

What kind of team is it? I'm up for trying. Fast pitch? I use to play at home back in Arizona. Let me know.

But as one who's in a similar self-created desert created by being particularly selective while surrounded by not-quite-matches, I feel your pain. Recently a barman at an Irish pub that shall not be named told me: "You look like a rape waiting to happen. And I don't mean with you as the victim." Heh, what happened to "You look nice today."

the team is pretty new and most of us are still learning how to actually play. It's a mixed age group (15-27 so far)
We meet up for practise for 2 hours every Wednesday at 6 p.m.

They got gloves and stuff at the field so it's not to bad if you don't have equiment (yet)

Would be great to see a few new faces, and even better if there are some people who actually know how to play and can teach us a bit more

I like Ocean can not make every practice. When are the games and where? And where in hofheim is practice? Your age group would get a little older if I play.

no problem if you can't make every practise, just havin some more people would be great. So far there are no games scheduled. Most of us just started this year and I think we would loose big time if we had a game lol
