On a day like today, go for a walk in the park or a long bike ride around the city. Explore, explore, explore!

Their should be a place in Munich like
The Church (a London based stipty club tongue.gif ) , where the party would kick off at midday on Sunday ..

If you go for a cycle, ensure you wear gloves, my hands are now absolutely freezing !

I should've read the forum a few hours ago. It's too late to go to TT Touch Rugby now; I couldn't get there before 2:00. Maybe next week.

Was a great day to do a local history walking tour with the Volkshochschule.

Cold but lovely and sunny today and thousands of people from the city walking and cycling along the Isar. Chance to see some friends, the pubs are open to warm up afterwards! Walking home I passed my (closed) local supermarket and thought: Thank God you can actually DO something on a Sunday in Munich instead of geting into the SUV and driving to the effing mall.

Yesterday was brisk but the first day the sun shone in...well I just can't seem to remember.

We cycled, had a beer at the Seehaus in the sun.

All you need is an hour or so of fresh air and sun and you feel rejuvenated!

Today, however, is another story altogether...

hungover though i was, it was a lovey day yesterday. Went to a friend to the Dantebad, which was brilliant - plus it's a really nice walk from the U-bahn. If you haven't been there yet, you're really missing out. They have two outdoor heated pools. One is olympic size and is for swimming only, and only in the same direction (they also have a fast lane!), the other one is smaller, warmer and has whirlpools, a kind of roundabout swirly thing, massage beds, and various other things - am not v. good at desribing, so check out the site

I was quite pleased that I didn't drink (much) on Saturday, just 2 G+Ts so I could get out and enjoy the day. Far too often I stagger home from a night of debauchery around mid-morning and then have to sleep it all off... wink.gif

what so you have to get out after one length?

nice touch with free entry on your birthday. €6.50 for a swim seems a bit steep though, unless you use all the other facilities.
