MVG's New "Pub Crawl" Bus Route

Maybe you know but all the buses are changing in December. 2 of my local routes are being merged into the new 152:

Ostbahnhof-Mariahilfplatz-Gärtnerplatz-Sendlinger Tor-Kapuziner Platz-Impler Str.

In their new brochure, MVG are advertising the new route as the "Kneipenviertel" bus and it's certainly likely to get me going out more in Haidhausen for example and there's a whole swathe of pubs in Schlachthofviertel I don't know.

So, is anyone up for a pub crawl along the bus route, say, end of January?

speaking of schlachthofviertel, i was just there tonight. went to an "improv" evening. only go if your german is up to par. i had a lot of fun and the setting was great.
i was wondering if this quarter was something special. the slaughter house place had a great restaurant, neat bar. seating was okay, but we were way in the back and had good views of the stage. apprently a local gemran celeb does a cabaret on bayern 3 once a month. my bf asked if there were chances to get tixs and the soundt echnician said sure, in fall 2005.

You must mean Ottfried Fischer Elfenstar, best known for playing the leading tole in the "Bulle von Tölz" one of the VERY few things I watch on TV. It's a cop show, but a very dry comedy really with a rapier sharp insight into some of the sleazier aspects of rural Bavarian life. However, it came out last week that "Otti" (as he is commonly known) is going to have along break from the series (allegedly after a row with SAT1) to do more cabaret. Yes, tickets are booked WAY in advance.

There's a lot of cultural stuff happens in the Schlachthof area and supposedly quite a few good pubs!

I might have a wander down there next week to see what pubs there are for the pub crawl! Einsteigen bitte!
