Babysitters available for hire - Hamburg

I have moved to Hamburg from England to live with my partner who works locally. I was working as an accounts clerk back in England and on coming to Hamburg would like a change. I was looking into teaching however school is nearly finished for the summer. I do not have have professional childcare experience however personally, I have years of experience. Being the second eldest of 5, I have mounts of experience looking after my younger brother and sisters. I have been counted on by friends and relatives over the years to look after their children, babysitting for them on a regular basis. Most recent childcare experience includes looking after my youngest sister of 5 and my nephew who is 18 months (both of whom I am missing considerably!)

I enjoy interacting with children and like to make things fun for them. I can help with homework and be there at a time of need. I understand a small level of German and hope to learn more here. Hi. My name is Elizabeth, I am a 25 year old Kindergarten teacher from the states. I am leaving my position in August in order to move to Hamburg with my husband, while he participates in a law school study abroad semester (September-January) at Bucerius Law School.

We will be living in the Alsterdorf area, but I am willing to travel all over Hamburg in order to work with children of all ages. I do not speak German, however, I have taught students of all languages in my classroom and I am not worried about language barriers.

At a very young age I knew that I wanted to be a teacher, so I found an outlet as I worked towards my goal by babysitting and nannying for over 12 years. I have worked with many amazing families who have children of all ages; I am able to provide references and a cv with photos upon request.

Hi! My name is Courtney and I will be moving to Hamburg in January 2010 for a few months. While I am there I would love to do some babysitting to make a little extra money--and I love kids I am from the US (Pennsylvania) and am 28 years old. Hello, my name is Maggie, I am available afternoons and evenings Mondays through Thursdays and anytime on Fridays and weekends. I'm a ceramic artist and teacher from upstate New York. I speak rudimentary German, (I'm currently taking classes at Volkshochschule).
