Vintage Audio stores

Greetings,

My brother who is visiting from Canada is interested in Vacuum Tubes.
Specifically he is looking for antique Audio tubes, namely the "all famous" Telefunkens. (not to me though)

Does anyone have any ideas about any stores / areas?

The place I would start with is on Landwehr Strasse (Off Sonnen Str, going towards Teresienhöhe), and in a small Hof. As you walk up Landwehr Str, stay on the right. I can't remember what they were called, but my memory is screaming Landwehrstr. 22, and they are one of Germany's last specialists in Plattenspiele-nadel (Record needles). If they can't help you, or point you in the right direction, then nobody can.

This sort of thing is better to find/buy on places like EBay. Telefunken tubes are popular collectors items, especially in Germany, so may be a good deal for a visiting collector. Verkaufe 60er Jahre Telefunken / TAB V 76/80 Röhren MicPre, alles Elkos komplett recapped, Vorstufeneinheit mechanisch stabilisiert, in sofort einsatzbereitem Zustand. Der V 76 wird zu Recht als der Rolls Royce unter den Röhren MicPres beschrieben. Kein anderer Verstärker hat solch einen musikalischen Ton und Punch bis zum Abwinken. Mehrere vorhanden.
