Moley
Definately something I'm interested in going to.

Went to Fabric in London back at the end of January and heard these guys take full advantage of the sound system in room 2 - was literally breath-taking. Needless to say I went back almost exclusively to listen to these guys DJ and recommend their BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix from the end of July.

I've got the parents visiting this weekend, but if there's more interest I'll make plans to come along...
Izabella
that's a great mix. i have another recent live set that i can throw on my server for download if anyone wants to take a pre-game listen.

hell, bring the parents blink.gif
Moley
Is there any further interest in this event tonight? I'm pretty keen to go!

I asked my parents if they wanted to come, but surprisingly they said no sad.gif

Should be a good night if there is a small group of people going. If anyone hasn't heard breaks before you can check out Annie Nightingale on BBC Radio 1 on the listen again player to get a feel for the genre. The Stanton Warriors are leaders in the scene and will feature live effects whilst DJing. A proportion of the stuff they will play is likely to be what they have produced themselves, some of which may be exclusives from what they have done recently in the studio.

I'd personally be going for the music and to meet new people, but dare say there could be a few drinks involved too ph34r.gif

Would love to hear the live mix if you have it available...
Izabella

Any idea what the best time to get to the Garden would be ?
Izabella
place gets going kinda late... between 12-1... but i'm going to get there earlyish to avoid the potential line hassle

rubber duck

Izabella

Moley
I'll be up for coming along, will meet you guys at the Arc at around 9:30ish.
Moley
Was an awesome night, the Stanton Warriors didn't disappoint! Will definately have to find the way to a few more breaks events in Munich...
rubber duck
Yup, put me on the list - I will be there. cool.gif
Izabella
love the fact that ms.duck ain't afraid to be the first shakin her bootay out on the floor. musically the night was not as good as i expected, but it was made up by a lively funky fun eclectic crew on the floor & couple o' deadly jagershots huh.gif

next 'can't miss' electronica event on the horizon - dj hell @ die registratuer on thurs, dec.2nd
Moley
Even the Warriors very 'typical', especially at the start of their set. Not much of the experimentation as perhaps I've heard before, but this is probably because of the location and the crowd. Fabric is much more of an underground club - fast becoming known for being the home of breaks - the people there expect to hear something new and different. For example, you wouldn't have seen the Warriors rewinding a popular tune in the middle of a set, that's something that surprised me and probably sums the night and the majority of the crowd.

Thursday sounds good, but there could be a few issues in having to get up at 6:30 for work...
Izabella
um yeah... you'd basically have to go straight from there to work... leaving a dj hell set early is hard... at least for me ph34r.gif
