Unterhaching Curry Night, Wednesday 25.Jun.2008 - Munich

Inspired by the recent vigourous interest in non-mainstream curry venues I have decided to initiate my own Curry Night to compete with the established ritual. I will be importing a quantity of tins of Marks & Spencer Curry (various types) back from the UK and my local Tengelmann sells Uncle Bens Quick-Rice so I'll stock up on that too. (The Basmati is delicious as you would expect.)

In order to give a really authentic feel to the night I will also be procuring a dozen of cases of Carling Black Label - which will be served warm.

I'm only coming if we can sit outside but I don't have to look at or hear any road traffic.

I'll be late and so will my undisclosed number of plusses. Can someone save us good seats beside the popular people please - make sure you hold enough.

With that kind of attitude you can take your saucepans, your tins of stuff, and your alternative, alternative, alternative to curry night, and shove it where these things should be shoved.

I really don't know why I'm bothering with this. One minute someone is flip-flopping about their Laptop, then someone can't find their way and to cap it all there now seems to be some bizarre need to have a say over the menu.

Listen. It's 7:30 start, there will be no chips, no veggie and you will get what you are given. If someone can bring some pop's all the better.
