Camping regulations for the English Garden

We are as camp as a row of tents, comrades

many!
Me and my mates are planning to make a huge party in E.G. with tents and stuff, but we have absolutely no idea if camping is actually allowed there.
I wonder if anyone on the forums knows something about this.

Thanks

in a nut shell probly not. In fact I'd make an uneducated guess at no. Read the rules on the signs.

banned by the Bayerisches Naturschutzgesetz, afik.

Yup a big no-no.

Except down by the floucher/zoo, the company used to hold parties down there with sun tents and people would crash out in sleeping bags if they had drank too much.

But the nice soft green areas are a definite no-no for grilling and tents and such.

You can probably have your drinks and a cold picnic but not the tent. And clean up after yourselves.

many!
You brought me bad news sad.gif
But I'm sure that there are some places in Munich where tents and stuff is allowed. At least in Starnberg near the lake, or I am wrong?

Well do you think you could have a private beer bash in the Hyde Park or at the Red Square?
If you want to have a big private party, ask a catering service.
Or go out of town into the Isarauen South of Munich.
Or do that good awful Isarflossfahrt, drink warm beer, have no toilet .
Enjoy
