Zuschüsse (benefit money) for Kindergarten

I have been enquiring all over about this and have not found the correct answer yet. Does anyone know where one would apply for a Zuchüsse for Kindergarten. I have been to Neuhauserstrasse 39 (Shul-Referat Amt) and they were useless. Do you know if I have to contact me Bürgerhaus or the Jugendamt? I live in Schwabing West. Thanks.

Kindergartenzuschuss is a voluntary payment made by an employer to an employee. The advantage of such a payment is that it's not taxable. Ask your boss.

You also can get subsidies from Jugendamt/Sozialamt (depending on your income, and which kind kind of Kindergarten your kid is going to). It's called "wirtschaftliche Jugendhilfe".
