I am a Chinese living in France, and hold a Carte de sejour (French residence permit). I got a job offer from a German company. The question is where I should go to apply for the German work permit, to the German consulate in France, or to the German immigration office? Would it be possible that I first move to Germany with my French residence permit, then apply for a German residence/work permit from the local German administration office? Thank you for your reply!
