BBC, CNN, and CNBC suddenly turned off

Message from cable TV operator

Yesterday, instead of BBC news, CNN and CNBC, I got this message on the TV screen saying that these are now digital channels and that I must tune in to S23, S31 etc to receive those channels. The trouble is, I see no button on the remote control unit to switch to the 'S' channels. Until I find the TV manual for Samsung I will not be able to watch news in English. Not a bad way to improve my German but now I am being forced to watch some of the most repulsive stuff. News is bad in any language.

CNN switched off? Best thing that could happen to it.

Just go into your tv's options and scan for new channels.

Bob, thanks for your advice. Once I found the manual, it was easy to assign C62, C61 and C60 to BBC World, CNBC and CNN. I was actually getting used to watching German TV, but the news seems just as bad in all languages happy.gif.

Thanks for the suggestions.
