Yesterday, instead of BBC news, CNN and CNBC, I got this message on the TV screen saying that these are now digital channels and that I must tune in to S23, S31 etc to receive those channels. The trouble is, I see no button on the remote control unit to switch to the 'S' channels. Until I find the TV manual for Samsung I will not be able to watch news in English. Not a bad way to improve my German but now I am being forced to watch some of the most repulsive stuff. News is bad in any language.
Achso!! So I am not the only one. Now I feel better.
Misery loves company, but mine insists on it:-))

CNN switched off? Best thing that could happen to it.

Just go into your tv's options and scan for new channels.

Bob, thanks for your advice. Once I found the manual, it was easy to assign C62, C61 and C60 to BBC World, CNBC and CNN. I was actually getting used to watching German TV, but the news seems just as bad in all languages .
Thanks for the suggestions. S

Always a pleasure, never a chore.
