Hi today I got 100 grams of my favorite tea, in a local shop in Aachen. So I went to prepare the first cup, and for my surprise I found feathers.
Here 2 pictures:

Is it "normal" to find such things, on tea? Seems that it has been for some tine there because it has the aroma of the tea.
I wrote the company to ask about it, I will let you know their replay. Just I think if there are feather, there are can be caca etc.
Thanks we boil the water before having tea eehh

It only means that your tea leaves were picked by some Indian bird.

To be honest the rest of that stuff doesn't look like it's ever seen a tea bush either!

I've seen "Flugtee" (possible translation: "flight tea") in the supermarket, and always wondered what it meant. Thanks for clearing up that mystery.
I wouldn't get in a flap about it, though.

You didn't let it steep long enough.

Was it the loose tea you measure and scoop into a bag yourself?? Only there are live birds that fly around inside the Real store I go to and it's very possible that the feathers dropped into the tea, along with some lucky bird poop too.
Gives it a bit of extra flavor I guess, think I'll stick to my PG teabags!

It was loose tea measured and scooped into a bag by a shop worker.

This is really a tempest in a teapot. Take the tea back to where you bought it and tell them what happened. Make sure you get the manager or someone of decent rank. At worst, they will say sorry, at best they might throw some free tea your way.

Yes at the end is just for a cup of tea

Maybe as the shop is near this plaza that has pigeons all over, it must be that some how with the air this get inside the tea box, or the tea bag.
Any way the teas from black, fruit and green are amazing, the best I have try.
