Politicians struggling to solve the current world food crisis need to find long-term solutions that feed the poorest without reproducing the ills of the recent "cheap food era".
I found this interesting. The high price of food being better for poorer countries seems to have some logic.
The comment about the wastage of food is another thing that rings true. I know I'm always disappointed with the amount of food I end up throwing out. I wouldn't say it's a third but defiantly more than I should.
How will the western world deal with high food and oil prices? Will we see an increase in salary or a decrease in standard of living?
