Hi,
I was wondering if I would be able to see Euro 2008 on my tv, does any of you know which channels will air Euro 2008?
Are there any public screening foreseen?
Thanks!
minga
All matches will be shown live on ARD or ZDF. I suppose ARD/ZDF also has plans to show matches live over internet.

Thanks!
Do you know if all matches = all matches involving Germany or all matches?
minga
All matches will be shown. Normally weekday matches on ARD and weekend matches on ZDF.

All matches will be shown.

How is that going to work for the June 15-18 matches which have two games going on at once?
It looks to me like four matches won't be shown (at least live).

Cool! Thanks a lot for the link!

i just passed the Lowenbrau on Nymphenburger str. and they have a big banner saying that they will be showing the UEFA games live...

The Hofbräukeller will show them in the beergarden and open an indoor room in case of inclement weather.

Basically every bar in Munich will be showing the games...Dumb ass. I hope that was helpful.

Obviously, any establishment in the city with a TV will be showing the games. However, there's a difference between having the TV on in the corner with the sound off and having a place where the game is the center of attention. I watched the Germany-Poland game at Cafe Munich in Schwabing (I've been here for some other games too), and it was great. However, the place was absolutely packed, and I can't be sure to get a seat every time. For someone who's new to Munich, can someone run off their favorite places in the city to catch a game? I'm a fan of outdoor patios, and I live in Schwabing, but for a good venue, I'll go anywhere...

Awesome, thanks for that link! English Garden sounds like it'd be perfect.

Where in Munich can I watch these games besides a bar and my living room? Are there any public viewing areas? In the park somewhere maybe?

Can anyone suggest a good beer garden to watch the biggest Euro 2008 match yet tonight?? I'm new to Munich and don't really know where the good ones are!

At home, safe and dry! Oh yeah, do a search using the little search option top right hand corner.

The Hofbräukeller at Wiener Platz is a good beer garden and it's easily accessible. I'm told they are showing the games there.
