Stitch 'n' Bitch - it's not all about knitting - Munich

Sundays 5pm @ Cafe Mondial, Munich-Haidhausen
Elemmaciltur
The Stitch 'n Bitch group meets almost every Sunday from 5 p.m. at:

Café Mondial - Pariser Straße 34, 81667 Munich-Haidhausen

U/S-Bahn: U5 or S-Bahn Ostbanhof, then five minute walk.

If you plan to attend you can sign-up your name on the Stitch 'n Bitch Munich sign-up sheet. Signing up is not necessarily essential, it's just a rough indicator of how many we expect to attend.

We also sometimes meet up during the week for an impromptu stitching session or a fun Yarn-Crawl. Please check the current discussion in the thread for any meet-ups or change of plans.

Crocheters, stitchers, jewelry makers and all you artsy people are also welcome! If you want to learn, there will be people who can teach you, just come along and if you have yarn and needles (we usually have spares, but not always), we'll get you started! Or if you want to socialise, just come along...but be warned, you'll be sucked right into knitting or crocheting! Post on here or PM me if you have any questions.

Hope to see lots of you there!

Congratulations! Now if I could do the same thing...

NO SnB this Sunday 29.06.2008 since that's the day Cafe Mondial's closing down and selling its inventory off. Besides, it's Germany against Spain, so I don't have the mind to knit. :-p

I'm in the process of finding another place to knit. Suggestions welcomed. In the mean time, however, if the weather stays nice, we can go have a picknick and knit together out there.

Does it need to be a cafe-type place? Because some sundays, I could offer a living room smile.gif
Elemmaciltur
Yes, it needs to be a public place. Imagine how uncomfortable you would feel if you're new and want to join. You wouldn't want to barge in to a house of a complete stranger, would you?
Aelfwynn
*shrug* I have joined a few groups that way, but if it needs to be a public place, so be it.

wow, this is awesome. I just started a sock on the weekend. Perhaps I shall join you next week to get some help with my circular knitting, I haven't figured out exactly the best way to join the ends and the stitch marker keeps getting in the way.
