Kilts for one-year-old children

Where to buy or borrow a child's kilt

I'm looking to get hold of a kilt for my son (15 months old) to wear to a wedding this summer. Would consider buying (new or used) or borrowing for a couple of weeks in July.

Any suggestions?

I bought a kilt from these guys last year... did it all over the phone from Munich. Worked absolutely fine, decent price too. Can recommend them. Wore it to a wedding in Poland, wow did that go down well! Hope you find what you are looking for.

In Scotland it is really easy (and relatively cheap) to rent the full kit (although I guess the shoes wouldn't be required...). However they will not post overseas (we've tried it in the past). If you have relatives/friends coming from Scotland then they could possibly rent and bring it over/back...

Thanks for these - it sounds like there are no local solutions and the best plan is probably to pick one up the next time we are in scotland.

I already used Kiltmakers.com and I found them very good.

I seem to remember that O'Leary's Irish Shop in Müllerstr. 37 had kilts, at least for children - you could try asking there. (The link has opening hours, phone no. and location - she doesn't have a website.)
