After much back and forth, the date is fixed kids:
Thursday 16th December
My suggestion would be drinkies, in the Muddy Boot, dinner somewhere (suggestions please!) and then collapsing into the Hide Out or somewhere else sleazy in a drunken heap for last orders.
All ideas on here please and we’ll try and keep everyone happy so there’s not an “alternative” night organised by the “Rotzkreuzplatz Rebels”.
And if you want pints-a-plenty, chavtastic banter, and more kinky boots than you shake a pig’s hairy bits at, you know where to come!

Darl', the old boot in boots will be there!
Muddy Boot is fine by me, I'd go to the Big Easy but that might be too capitalist for some. Sappralotts should also be a feature, no?
And before the moaning starts, yes, this is the day before the TTM Frocktails. Yes this is a good idea. Why? Not all are going to Frocktails (and those that are don't actually do any work in the office on Fridays or any other -day for that matter).
And remember:
*Everywhere can be sleazy - it just depends on who you are with*

PS So glad that the Socialist Collective of the People's Republic of
Neuhausen could get its' collective arse in gear

you lot are SICK!!! Two nights out in a row, ouch... maybe I'll just take friday off...
up for it with chrimbo bells on... and to mark the occasion I feel we should beat all cheesey smilies ever used... reminds me of the TT version of the Village People, wonder why?!

Yes you can. But only if they have Schuß in them because otherwise they are virtually undrinkable at Rotkreuzplatz Chrimbomarket.
Nice crepes can be found though.
PLEASE NOTE: Non-Neuhausen Regulars are also welcome. Bring ear plugs.

Oooh, I think i'll be there! Last time was really fun, although apparently I left before some of u showed up, so I think I missed out on a lot of the fun. Nevertheless, hopefully I'll be there in December!

Fab, I'll be there, waving me red flag

Would vote for G&T rather than that disgusting Glühwein muck, though, personally. I know it's terribly bourgeois, but what can I do? I just love G&T and hate Glühwein vom

Where shall we go for the food bit, though?
Sarplots? Zapata? Big Easy? Ysenegger? Or we could go back to Edison's, the place that started it all off, all those months ago

The thread is back!
What about the Mexican place? Zapistas?
Topsy
Nov 22 2004, 5:18 pm
Zapata is great. Does everyone like Mexican food?
They do a happy hour until 8pm as well. Could be on for early doors in Ryan's then stumbling over to Zapata in time for a quick cocktail.
Or is that too dangerous?

anything you organise is dangerous, i learnt that last week... so much for "let's meet for an Apfelschorle before the cinema"...
False fell asleep and snored, the last 3 rows of the cinema were watching him and not the film!

well, come join us some time and check it out!

For anyone who's thinking "I'm a newbie and these people have real cliques going", I met topsy and false once before last week, have met Grtho once or twice... just Katrina way too often .

JoolyBooly is right, it's not cliquey, the more the merrier for a night of riot debauchery, booze, dirty jokes, G+Ts, spooky Belgian quizmasters, interesting Austrians, decent guiness, even decenter Augustiner and chavtastic banter!
Neuhausen is the new Kunstpark, or something!

Sometimes Neuhausen is like Munich's Magaluf

I have booked Friday off as a *precautionary measure*

But really, all will be very welcome (especially if you have never been to
Neuhausen before).
Shall I bring a Christmas Cake especially (warning: does contain Captain Morgan Overproof Rum in large amounts) and some mince pies (warning: ditto)?

Speak for yerself you slaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag
Anyway, should we start to get slightly organised?
Here is a potiential plan:
Thursday 16th December
Early burds: 7pm start onwards at the front Glühwein stand, Rotkreuzplatz Weihnachtsmarkt
Official start: 8-8:15pm at Ryan's Muddy Boot
Moving on to Sappralotts at 9:30/10pm
How does that sound? This would mean that
1. those that want to eat beforehand can do so
2. not too many places are involved and transport is nearby
3. Hide Out (if so desired) is a straight stagger (and so is the U-Bahn)
4. Alternatively a late nite curry can also be arranged (4 options nearby)
Let me know what you think.

Not personally keen on the Glühwein at 7pm idea, I don't think it's good for a big meet up, and we do always get a few nice discerning newbies at the Neuhausen-Treff.
Can't we do 7pm at Ryan's? It's tradition, after all

Glühwein masochists could always start at 6/6.30pm at RKP.
Just my opinion, not too bothered. It would probably do me good to wait until 8pm, I spose
