Where to buy posters and paintings

Hi

I've moved here recently and I wanted to buy some cool posters\pictures for my apartment. Ideally I'd like something of berlin but I'm having problems finding places that have things for a small budget. Any suggestions?

There are a couple of screenprinting places on Torstraße in Mitte where artists rent studio space to make stuff. They both have storefronts where they sell prints made by the (local) artists. I don't recall the names or addresses of these two places but if you go for a walk on the south side of Torstraße for several blocks around area of the ubahn station Rosa Luxemburg Platz you'll find them. There are sometimes some really nice prints on etsy.com - just search for poster or print or screenprint. You possibly won't find any Berlin-specific ones, but the quality of the designs can be really good if you trawl through them all and I think they are relatively cheap.
