Hi Everyone!

I have some friends coming into town this weekend and would like some advice on where to go and what to see in Berlin. I want to make sure they get to see the best of Berlin! I would love some recommendations on what's a must see here and also some of your favorite restaurants or cafe's...etc. I have some ideas myself but maybe I could be forgetting a couple of things. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! rolleyes.gif

Hey Miss Margaret,

You can try this website: www.virtualtourist.com

They basically have a lot of information on what to see, where to eat, shop, and other good suggestions.

Have fun being a tour guide!

The White Trash, the Saunaschiff, Die Museumsinsel (get the english language audio-guides), The jewisch culture museum, maybe the Reichstagskuppel, if you have the time to queue.

The secret with the Reichstag is to go right at 8 am when it opens or about 9 pm. Lines are much shorter then!

Even better is to take a child or two with you. The couple of times I've been up there with visitors, I've taken the kids with me and the staff that work the line have pulled us out and let us in through the disabled entrance. This gets you direct to the lift and past all the queue.
