Need someplace special for Saturday night. Italian would be good but not required. I know one good one, Canal Grande, but would like something new. Maybe this can even be a category for filtering on the restaurant list??

have you thought of Nektar? They have an outside venue for the summer.

La Vecchia Masseria (sp) on the Mathildenstr. is nice...they have outside seating in a courtyard (nice and quiet as it's not directly on the street).

Catwalk on the corner of Mauerkircher and Montgelass str by the MaxJoseph Bridge is nice and saturday is all you can eat pasta. Its also a Bio restaurant.

Catwalk are not Bio, they do however describe themselves as a "healthfood" restaurant though I have never been able to work out what they mean by that. Their Club Sandwich and thick cut chips is to die for but healthfood it ain't. tongue.gif

Try Mediterranee - have a nice outdoor area. Staff is fantastic, atmosphere fantastic and food is awesome - particularly the seafood pasta dishes and the mushroom risotto.

I'm stuggeling with the same issue .. of course there are lots of biergartens ... but actual restaurants with outside seating. Arabellapark has a couple ... Leopold strasse has a bunch but otherwise it's tricky ? Uni Reitschule has it's Balcony ... and I've seen the 2 Italian's in this thread .. anyone got any more ?

La Rocca has great outdoor seating, lovely and quiet as it's in a courtyard. Attenzione, the restaurant is not exactly cheap.
