I am going to have to cancel tonight, the curry from last night is not allowing me to get more than 2 meters away from a toilet. Oh and its as spicy on the way out as it was on the way in.

samy is right. The service is valid even after touching the net. So there will be no re-serve. Good correction.

Was a hard night..Had some good singles .. lost both of them though

Topsy has had a bicycle accident and won't be able to play badminton for at least 6 weeks. She's not happy about it at all, but most importantly (for you lot), she can't organise the courts. Someone else will have to do that for now.

I've been meaning to come along for weeks! Topsy was going to meet me, I've even brought my racquet from home when I went back for a funeral 2 weeks ago! I would like to have a go (haven't played for many years so out of practise) but I would prefer someone to meet me at Hauptbahnhof cos I am hopeless at finding my way around and have never used a tram! I also need to know what I need to wear and bring, cost, etc. Can someone give me some advice and meet me, please? I can make this Thursday if so.

If anybody is on the way from hbf , they can meet u there.

U need to catch the Tram 17 from HBF towards amelieburgerstr and get down at steubenplatz. Tram stop is just opposite to hbf(near easyinternet).

U neet to get down at the steubenplatz(10 min. from hbf).

Best thing would be wait at the tram station steubenplatz, Me or somebody else could meet u there.

It costs around 12 euros for 2 hours. Any sportswear would do. If u r interested u can also go to sauna after the games(included in price ) .

Looks like there are four people playing from 7-8 and six from 8-9, presuming Alys plays for 2 hours! Will check the situation after the deadline and cancel courts accordingly.

The courts are as follows for tomorrow evening:-

1 court from 7-8p.m.(no. 39) and two courts from 8-9p.m.(no. 38 & 39).
Depending if Alys comes there are 4/5 people for the first hour and 7/8 for the second!

Sorry guys, didn't get to sign up on time and now have a kidney infection so no way I can start tomorrow, but thanks for the info. I'll catch up with you when I'm fit. Having an operation next Wednesday so next Thursday will definitely be out I'm afraid!

i happened to be channel surfing the last couple of days and came across a prog on (i think) rtl2 where three trendy young chefs go into a restaurant and revamp the menu / teach the chefs new skills - anyway, they were at our very own RSC, creating fancy dandy new pizzas, soups and fish dishes
i'd be interested to hear if the menu has changed, and if you guys try out any of the new dishes

@Topsy - I saw the trailer too! Virtually every surface at the RSC had a flyer advertising this event and inviting everyone and his/her dog/granny to come along to the taping. It must've been when you were busy studying.
Did you see the actual program?

yeah, i saw the prog - they got in some glam girlies to wait on the tables instead of having clemens and the nice blond boy
i quie fancied the look of the persian soup, but you know I have a weakness for axis of evil cuisine

i'm going to try to come and see if a friend from my class wants to come too, but i won't know for sure until tomorrow afternoon. i'll unreserve if i can't, sorry i can't be more sure. also, i need to figure out if i know how to get there from Pullach. also, do i need to bring anything or does it cost money to get in or something?

I will try to make it by 7:00 to get there before most of the other folk. I haven't played since I was about 8, so someone will need to bring me up to speed on what I hear is a much more competitive version of the game than I'm used to.

Hi There all. I'm pretty new to this forum but not to Badminton or RSC. I play there regulary on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays. I would not mind giving it a swing on Thursdays as well. How can I meet you?

@techy..we meet around 6:45P.M. in RSC. Usually we play in courts 39/38. So u can just turn up at these courts. Pls register in the reservations page so that we have exact numbers.
