Ok Folks! We have 2 courts(no. 39 & 41) from 7p.m. through 9p.m. Six players from 7-8p.m and 9 for the second hour. Hope everyone turns up as expected! Hopefully Ravski will be able to pay and get the discount?! See you all at 8!

my boss from India is in town and he wants to have dinner with us.

If anybody wants to take my place then he/she is most welcome otherwise I will pay.

Situation as follows due to 2 last minute cancellations:- have tried to cancel one of the courts from 7-8p.m. (normally must be 24hr notice)but if they don't manage to get rid of it, False and Ume will have to pay their share!

Presuming you will be there first - just ask if they got rid of one court before you fork out the money! Let's hope someone desperately wants to play badminton tonight!

I am not sure if I will be the first one as I have a late meeting.

I'll be there at 7 but will probably leave at about half eight!

Haven't made any changes yet! Will definitely cancel one court from 8-9p.m. though.

@ Kenny There's still room from 7-8p.m. From 8-9p.m. we are already 9 people with 2 courts. You're welcome to come along though and take your chances or alternatively as 32D suggests some TTers play on Sun. from 4-6p.m.

I hv a suggestion to make. How abt clubbing both threads with facility to register for either or both days at a single place. That would mean a single place for Badminton for all of us I suppose.

I've signed up for badminton on Thursday 24.02 and was just wondering about a couple of things:

- where do we all meet up?
- what costs are involved?
- we don't have to wear whites, do we?

We can meet up at the tram stop at Steubenplatz at 6.30 on Thursday if you like? A bunch of us usually end up meeting there.

Course you don't have to wear whites, you can wear whatever you like.

Cost - if Ravski's playing it's a bit cheaper, cos he gets discount with his work. I think it's €23.80 a court or something. We just add up the cost of the courts and split it by the number of peeps who play in that hour. If you need to hire a racket, you'll have to fork out for that as well, but it's not much.

We just meet on the courts usually. Presumably you've seen the address on the thread. You need to take the Tram 17 to Steubenplatz and then it's a short walk from there. We divide the price of the courts between the number of people playing. No whites required - wear whatever you like! Good to see another newcomer!

well, we can meet on the courts if you're sure how to get there... it's happenened before, though, that a hapless newcomer has been wandering around for 50 minutes trying to find the place, and ended up only playing for 10 mins. not a good start.

I've been to the RSC before but not the badminton courts, so it would probably be best if I met you at the Steubenplatz stop at 6:30.

@Topsy, I can pay for the courts as I borrowed some money from a few friends. I hope they dont beat the crap out of me.

Well, they *were* sell-by yesterday, so you had to, really.
Would have been a shame to waste them.
