I am just helping out with the court booking for this week. If there is knowone else signed up then its pointless for you to join unless you have found someone and you both pay for the court.

If you want to play in your own time then phone them up yourself to see when/what courts are available.

I might be able to come along this week, as I have early shift on Thursday.
Got a bit of Tennis Elbow trouble, but I guess the only way to test it is to use it - I´ll watch this site and see if you get enough people to come along - if it looks like it´ll take place, I´ll organise a babysitter for Shorty!

how do I know where to direct myself once I am in the sports hall? Or is it rather simple?

I have been in Munich for 3 months, from the UK (London). Me and my mate would like to join you and play badminton every Thursday and Sunday and was wondering if you have any space left for this week?

FYI:

There is always 1 court booked, No.6, from 19:15-21:15.
It can be cancelled up to 24 hrs in advance.
We can always ask for another court: it depends on what is available, which is normally not a lot.

Sorry, no spare racket but you can hire them from Sports4You - not too expensive I'm sure - maybe € 5 or so

allan paid 2.50EUR for one racket 1 hours last week.

also, we are full for this week, should we get another court for 1hour as we are 7?

Yes, maybe try and reserve a court but watch out for cancellations due to
the dreaded colds going round at the moment. Cough cough

courts are booked up, so no extra court.
7 is too many imo. we are 7 for the first hour...the list gives dates and times...first come first serve... i think.

I have to drop out this week. Back next week though...

we need to cancel them at lunch time wednesdays to avoid having to pay for them.

If you play all the time I doubt that I last two hours. If it is with breaks and/or doubles I may be able to before I drop (dead), so I'm not quite sure...

But I definitely would like to come, length depending on how many of us there are.

Oh, it was all fun and games tonight - they "lost" the reservation...

colin is on holiday.

i called them to ask for extra courts in 2 weeks but they only had an extra court 30mins, so i said i will call back. i didn't cancel any courts. (i thought i was very clear about what i wanted etc and said i'd call back) it seems that they thought i cancel courts even though i never mentioned a cancellation. i am very sorry if i confused them and they cancelled and as a result you made the journey for nothing.

or the other explanation could be that when i cancelled the court last week and i said i will see you next week (making sure that next week stands), the woman on the phone thought i want to cancel next week too.

our reservation for next week still stands?

I also landed there yesterday at 8:15; same story. I called now and there is a reservation on TT's name, so we do have a place for next week from 7:15 - 9:15. But I'm not Colin so I don't know if there's some special agreement that we have to call every week in advance and confirm that we're coming or so; no idea about that. I haven't even played for a year or so, so it's best if you people make the arrangements.

There were at least 50 people yesterday playing; there's a club of some sort, I saw before some of the people playing badminton yesterday; I guess they just "overtook" the TT's place.

we only call when we cancel, we don't call to confirm as it is a permanent booking/reservation. colin is away, i think another 2 weeks.
and usually we cancel on wednesday afternoon once reservations are closed to avoid having to pay for an unused court.

Don't want to hijack, but if anybody can make it daytime during and fancies a game please pm me (courts are half price )

Unless my blxxdy cold doesn't go away and then you can take over my place. Not really hoping
