hey by the way, how does this work in terms of equipment and money...? ive got a racquet but no cocks... can u buy some there? and who pays for the courts...and how much...thanking you.

@ pirulero, you don't need to bring shuttlecocks (although no one will send you away if you do )
you sign up in advance, and then usually Ume pays for the courts and collects the money from the people who are there
obv he gets the number of courts based on the people who sign up, so if you say you're coming then you should come.
it usually ends up costing around 12 euros for 2 hours (I think)

just to clear up, its 12€ EAch, so that makes 150€ everytime u guys go there... mental, what a great business...

OK, Ume just called me (he's not online at the minute), he's tried booking extra courts but there's not much available.
That means that:

from 7 - 7.30 we have 2 courts
and from 7.30 til 9 we have 3 courts

with 15 sign-ups we will have a lot of rotation and a lot of sitting out.
Just so people know.

I signed up to play for the first time this Thursday which is
one of the reasons you have so many this week.

I have only ever played badminton before at school, outdoors
in the breeze, with broken rackets and shuttles. So, although
I know the rules, I won't be very competitive.

The normal price is 28€ per court for 1 hour. But as some of us are working at O2, we get a discount of 10% (or 15% when the receptionist is confused). So, 24€ per court it is.
if we are 4 for each court we pay 6€ per hour, more if less players and less if more players.
