Just curious about other peoples experiences. The registrar in my city doesn't have experience marrying a German and an American so she was unsure which documet the court would want as prrof of income. Furthermore I am currently unemployed in Germany on a passport. What documents did you submit for your marrige and did you translate them? I had thought of a Tax return or W2 but neither of these are documents that can get aposilles attached, so I am unsure if the courts will accept them.
