Sex and the City movie opening in Frankfurt

Hi Everyone,

I desperately want to watch sex and the city this coming wednesday. where can I do this in english? Ive been surfing the net but there s nothing besides the turmpalast movie theater. Arent there any parties, premieres etc in Frankfurt?

I have been doing a lot of research into this with the hope of organising a special SATC event with an English showing but sadly it has not been possible. The film is in very high demand and there are not many original versions available so it is only being shown at the Turm and this has only been certain from today to my knowledge.

What we are now planning to do is go to a showing in the Turm and make a night of it and going to Living afterwards. I will post details on here as soon as it is definite but we'll be looking at next week.

There was a special event on the 19th run by Pro 7 but as said above these are all in German. Although I am more used to the German voices really since it started after I had already moved here I watched it all in German...

Mondays at the Turm are the Sneak Preview nights. It will be playing full time in 2 weeks or so...

Nope it starts in the Turm tomorrow 28th May. Do you know that is what they are playing in the sneak preview? I assume since it is now showing as of tomorrow it will not be on the sneak preview.

I suggest going to see the movie on Friday night. The movie starts at 8.30 pm. How about meeting at 7.30 - 8.00 pm at the entrance to Turmpalast? I am afraid that if we meet later, it may be hard to buy the tickets and get good seats for everyone. Hope to see you there!:)

And we can definitely go for drinks afterwards!;)

Just noticed this thread, is it not too late to say that I'd like to join too? We can try to reserve the tickets online, by the way, if you are worried that we won't get any right before the show.

I just checked the Turm schedule and it seems like there is a showing of SATC at 19:45 and at 20:30. I don't think it should be a problem to get tickets for the 20:30 show. I will be in the city a bit early shopping so if you guys want me to get tickets ahead of time - let me know. I will send my cell phone number to Cerise, Muffin and Chucha.
