Hi,

I'm an Aussie with a german Working Holiday Visa, and I'm going to be moving with my german girlfriend to Ulm in a few weeks. I really don't speak German, although I've been learning and am going to continue. Does anyone know my prospects of getting work in Ulm, or any advic or tips to help? I know its not particulary easy without the language and in a small town. I'm fit and able to do any work, have experience in most areas and I have a university degree (Though Zoology won't help much here I think haha). My girlfriend has to finish her studies in Ulm, so I'll be there for a year at th least. I've been in Finland the past 6 months doing a similar thing, so I'm used to this being difficult. Drop me a line\email if anyone can help, or has information they think can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

If you need work the moment you get there, try and arrange to get on the training course before you go, then its a speedier business
