Hello, Everyone:

I am a "serious" amateur photographer who has just accepted a position with AFRICOM. I have great plans for my stay there (and in AFRICA) and would like to hook up with a person(s) with similar interests. I do mostly "street photography" in different locations/venues and right now I'm thinking of excursions to Morocco, Egypt, Israel, Istanbul,...you get the picture... I'm not interested in places which tourists frequent. I am more interested in relatively undiscovered/frequented areas where you can come in contact with the true local character and life. It takes some time to research but those venues/places can be found. At least that is my experience. Anyone out there interested in the same thing and willing to travel some?
Nicole
When you get here go to the craft/photo lab on Robinson Barracks and ask for Uka, she is a professional photographer/instructor with a lot of experience. She takes brilliant 'edgy' photos and will be able to point you in the right direction.

I'm all for street photography, but can't join you travelling around...
if you're interested, maybe we could organize a meet-up for people interested in photography in Stuttgart!
Events like photo competition in Munich, with bunch of TTs running around and taking great photos were quite fun smile.gif A day trip to explore nice scenery (vineyards&co) of BW would be also cool!
