Aye, so 'tis. Check the instructions to see if it's safe to use it in your washing machine or enamel bathtub. If in doubt, buy a cheap plastic bucket or two.

I surreptitiously introduced some powder dye into the washing machine drum on April Fool's Day 2008 shortly before Crusoe was due to wash her expensive white cashmere sweater.
I had a good laugh, so I did.

Or Rossmanns or Müller or DM or any of the otehr drogerie chains of you have them up there in Germany.
DEFINITELY MAKE SURE there is NOTHING in the machine before you do the dyeing and run the machine again on a boil cycle to get any of the rest out.

we are not allowed in my building with shared laundry to use dye in the machines!
Rewe also carries it, its generally near the Laundry detergents area.

If you are dying
blue denim jeans be prepared to be disappointed. Did that once just to "refresh" the color of my faded blue jeans - I was unhappy with the results that I threw my jeans away. Same thing happened with my friend. Just be warned that the stitching might also color (depends on the fiber: cotton, polyester etc) and that the jeans will lose the denim (fine blue and white fiber) appearance.
Now I've got some faded
black cotton jeans...hmmm I wonder...
