Meet up for "desperate housewives" in Stuttgart

My husband and I just moved to Stuttgart a couple of weeks ago. We're in our late 20s with no kids. He works on Patch and we're currently in a hotel trying to find a place to live. I quit my job to come over here and while I'm looking for work I want to meet other people and explore this city. Just wanted to know if anyone is in a similar situation. I'm not used to the unemployed life and I'm finding myself bored out of my mind during the day. Please let me know if anyone is interested in meeting up and learning and exploring this beautiful city during the day. I'll also take any suggestions on clubs or activies I can join to meet other people. Thanks!

My fiancé works on Patch as well, and I'm also completely bored out of my mind during the day! I'm only early 20's, but if you'd like I'm sure we could work something out.

I friend and I are going to Ludwigsburg tomorrow (Thursday) to see the castle and they have an international music festival going there. We're just a couple of girls in our mid twenties exploring the city of Stuttgart and it's surroundings. We probably will go around lunchtime... so let me know if you want to come with and we can meet up before going via S bahn... about 20 minutes from Hauptbahnhof.

I'm actually located in Backnang (30 min from Stuttgart with the S-Bahn) but up for commuting. Ive just started working part-time but still have quite a bit of free time on my hands!

Another desperate housewive (27)... Im also here becuse my husband he is working at bosch. Its been a year and I've done some jobs here and there, now Im working in a Marketing company, but I still get bored out of my mind, because I dont have any social life.
