Hi I'm Allen, 35 year old Male, happily married, an Indian, although my name doesn't sound like an Indian but that's a part of the success story of the missionaries in my part of the world. Well I am an artist who doesn't speak any German.( I'm trying very hard to learn though!), I moved to Erlangen three weeks back and I'm looking for anyone who's inetersted in sharing my sketchbooks, thoughts or a spicy chicken curry. This sketch was after a few beers!
Cheers!

That's a dangerous invitation, I would willingly take you up on it, if you cook vegetarian.
As well as being a self professed curry addict, I'm vegetarian, and can take it almost as spicy as it gets.

Hello!
So i found the forum a few months ago. I moved to Erlangen about 3 months ago.
I am actually looking for a bit of help in the old German learning, am finding it a bit hard to get my feet on the ground. So far I havent met too many like minded people and I havent had a relaxed conversation in what seems ages!!! Is there anyone out there that lives in Erlangen? Or could give me a bit of help or push in the right direction? I have come back from traveling for the last 2 years and need some interaction!!
I am 28 female, am chilled out, would love to get creative or find some people to maybe do some bouldering (which im new too), have a coffee, relax in the sun, learn German etc!!
Any help would be cool.
Look forward to hearing from you x x

there's a website, I forget the exact address, but if you Google Sprachtandem Nurnberg, you're bound to find it...basically, it's people that are looking to exercise their language skills, and some of them are keen on speaking English with those who speak it natively. I can safely say I've exploited this to its full potential, and would highly recommend it. Also, if you'd be interested in hanging out with someone who understands you, I'm always game for this.

Iándunham, hi sorry for the delayed reply. I was busy with the Comic Salon. I will start my german classes from the 9th of June(Hopefully), and I hope I have some good company there. Lets meet up, generally for a coffee or a curry!

to iandunhamthat's probably the web site you've mentioned...
http://www.sprachduo.uni-erlangen.de/. that web site helped me to find really nice english-german speaking people...)
to georgecobleyHi)Where do make bouldering? I am also pretty new in that field, but do make alot of that stuff these days. There's a really nice SportZentrum Nürnberg, with a lot of climbing/fitness facilities. When you are interested, just drop a few lines...
