Square purple building on Oderberger Straße corner

People who live near Mauer Park in Mitte will have noticed a single level purple and green building has been built on a piece of open land where Oderberger, Eberswalder and Schwedter Strasse meet. I was wondering if anyone knew what it is going to be? God i'm bored.

IS it not difficult to be bored in Berlin? Think - at least you're not in Leipzig.

I guess I am bored as well since I am responding to this...

But I live close to Oderberger Str. and I've been asking myself the same question since they started construction. Sad thing is that it covers up part of the Brazilian mural...and it's purple!

Its the new studio, where they'll be filming the new German Version of Barney

That's the weirdest part, they've built a wall straight in front of the mural, it's only 7 foot tall, but still, is a bit odd.

Hate to put an end to all the fun, but that is also what they are doing putting that building up! I asked the builders and they said it was going to be an estate agents office. There you go - the last nail in the coffin.

Today I walked by it and it had text on it, I'm trying to remember what it said, "Com" something.. sounded like a telephony-related thing.

I kind of suspected thatm thanks for the info mxle. Petrol bombs at the ready lads.

Something like "Comcorp" (although it wasn't that). The business name i'm guessing, thought it would give a hint.

It said "COMPRO"... but it turns out they weren't finished painting the letters, it was part of the word "COMPROMISE".
As you can all see now, it's some building (office or something) related to the new development project on Schwedter, Mariendorf apartments or whatever..
