I am an American female, age 21, and will begin university studies here in October. Currently I am taking German language courses in the mornings (9.00 to 13.30 Uhr) Monday through Friday. I would be glad to pick up some extra babysitting work in the afternoons/evenings/weekends--preferrably a family with whom I can spend many hours per week, get to have a good relationship with the children, long-term, trust, etc.
I have many years of experience working with children--a volunteer year in the AmeriCorps working as a teacher's assistant for a low-income Preschool, summer art camp councelor, au pair (here in Germany) and babysitter. I work very well with children ages 3 to 6 (professional training), but also have had good experiences with infants (6 months) and older children.
