If you answered yes then let's get together once or twice a week to discuss the current market situation. Discussion will be held in English but German speakers are welcome as well.

great idea, you can bet there will be plenty of volunteers. too bad the previous investing thread did not lead to any meetups, actually I'm not aware of anything ever happening then. Waiting for further detail...if you need help in setting things up, let me(us) know.

I am interested as well. I'll scope out this thread for a meetup time and date.

I have still found NO good brokerage options for investing in Germany. I'm not talking anything dramatic, just a brokerage fer cryin' outloud! Don't they have a simple low cost brokerage industry in Germany? A Vanguard/Schwab/Fidelity equivalent where one can have a money market, a bond fund, a stock index fund. I don't need an advisor, just an online platform and vanilla asset allocation that I can do myself.

This sort of stuff may be too bland for some investors. I figure I need the foundation before I start with the commodities and options.
