In recent years, a very lively art scene has developed in what was once the "Scheunenviertel", the original Jewish quarter of Berlin (Mitte, Hackescher Markt). One mainstay of that scene is the SAMMLUNG HOFFMANN in the SOPHIE-GIPS-HÖFE, a private "lived-in" collection of contemporary art.
The Hoffmann Collection includes contemporary art from around the world, in all sorts of media. Each Saturday, by appointment, Erika Hoffmann opens her home to the public, sharing this experience with others.
Please join me and the Berlin Kiez Club for a private showing of this collection in English on 31 May at 2:30 p.m. Cost is 6€, paid at the door. Please PM the organizer, Ashema, to get on the guest list.
