New in Mainz (or new to this forum) - Frankfurt

Hi y'all
I'm relatively new to Mainz, and relatively new to this forum, and couldn't find a spot to introduce myself properly so I've started one just for us Meeenzers!
(that's the only bit of Mainz dialect I've learned so far!)
So, I'd be happy to hear from any more of you from Mainz, as I still have lots of questions and things I'd love to chat about!

My handle is an ode to my appreciation of all things curry, somewhat of a given when you are born and raised in the Birmingham area...

No worries, guess it's always hard to find a good handle.. I used to go by the name "Luder". Lude, is short for Prelude, luder was for someone who drives a Prelude. "Car made by Honda back in the 90's"
Well I have learned there is another definition to my handle in other countries, which would have explained why I was not getting much responses.. lol

No worries mate, so what are you doing in Wiesbaden? We can go for a beer sometime if you want...Wiesbaden isn't the liveliest city in the world but there's enough here to keep most folks amused.

I'm here on a 7 months on job training assignment. Usually try to stay active but have been struggling with find sports facilities based on recreational or social sports. I am traveling alot and with only being here for 7 months, can't really comit to a team but I do love my sports. Are you aware if any place where you can just drop in at a certain time to play something like beach volleyball, soccer, handball, squash, etc.. If not, I would consider drinking beer and socializing a sport so when ever you want. Just let me know. I'm getting bored not doing anything.

I'm in Lithuania on a work trip most of next week.
Am around this Saturday though and haven't been out in Mainz for months...would be cool to go on a bar crawl with someone who knows the place better than me
I've got two mates who might be up for coming along too...an English guy and a Froschfresser!

Great to see more people in the Mainz area who wanna meet...I haven't had or won't have internet for a while as I've just moved house, but I would also love to meet up!
My next free weekend evening, though, is either fri 20th june or the next fri the 27th...it's crazy busy in school right now!!!
Anyways why not start with one of those 2 dates for everyone who's interested?
