do you guys have a recommendation for a good Accountant in Frankfurt that is knowledgeable in both US and German taxes? Not too expensive hopefully. I'm looking for someone to help me out with my returns in both countries and know the "loopholes" and benefits captured between the two. Also, how much does one need to earn per annum to pay for both American and German taxes? I'll be contracted with a German firm. Thanks.

i doubt you will pay both, only the balance if Germany has a particular class of tax at a higher level than American.
