Tournaments at Landsberg Polo Club - Munich

So after stagnating for a few years my interest in Polo has been reawakened.(I played/worked as a polo groom in my wasted youth)
I was at a Polo Tourney at the weekend and really enjoyed myself, so much so, that I am going to organise an outing to the next one.
It's on the 27th-29th June near Landsberg, I'll bee there on the 28th-29th June and on the night of the 28th June having a BBQ and party at my country residence which is nearby. Plenty of space to overnight, so no drunk driving. 29th back to polo ground for the finals then off back to Munich, I shall try and organise some transport to and from the grounds and also to and from the S-Bahn for people travelling on that!
Anybody interested please PM, all are welcome! (Whoever they may be)
I think I can manage at least 12 people for an overnighter! Dress for the polo should be casual/posh, lots of white trousers and big straw hats, picnic hampers and nibbles should be brought along too!

This is still on by the way( weather dependent of course), anybody can come along. You don't have to be there for the BBQ, just pop along Saturday or Sunday and enjoy a nice day of relaxing polo. Bring a picnic basket full of goodies and wine.

Rain or shine, depends how heavy though! Should be OK, that weekend!

Here we go, a bump for this.
So the weather is looking nice for the whole weekend, so it's on with the summer gear and out of Munich for a very interesting day out. You can come Sat or Sunday, up to you.Or even spend the night at the BBQ.
S-Bahn is Geltendorf, I will be able to pick up as required (car from Munich is full) so PM if you are interested.
Bring drinks and nibbles, picnic blankets are on hand too.

Oops, pardon. The Polo ground is in Schwifting, leave the Autobahn at Windach over the bridge, through Windach look for the signs, road runs nearly parallel with the BAB. Or first turn off for Landsberg an der Lech, and follow the signs. PM for my Mobile No.

Thanks to everyone who turned up, most excellent weekend and guess what? I read the site wrong and next weekend on Sat and Sun the finals are being played out. Both days starting at 12:00. Ending at 17:00???
I will only be able to manage Sunday, for the playoffs, but after seeing some of the chukkas that were played looks like being a really exciting day out.
So get the posh totty hats out and the white chinos, stuff the picnic hamper full of Pimms and champers and get treading! (You'll find out what that means if you get there)!

Edit: This is the German Championships but, 1/2 of the commentary is in English. Very competent young lady does it. _{Better than the German one}

Great weekend...flowing wine , women and song...great tournament, and great BBQ back in the country residence...I lapped it all up man !!! THANKS
