Asians living in Hamburg

Hi there,

I would like to know how big the Asian community is like in Hamburg. Keep the posts coming please. I am looking forward to seeing them.

I'm half-Asian, but I guess I don't count since I grew up in the States.

Hamburg is a sister city to Shanghai, so there are lots of Chinese here. There are plenty of Asian supermarkets here which is a good indication of the amount of Asians living here. I've also met some people from Japan, Indonesia, Bali, and Vietnam.

I am from Malaysia and my partner is from Australia. I only live here for 3 months at a time, then back to Malaysia for 3 months. This has been the case for almost 6 years now. My friends in Malaysia would say that I'm in Malaysia only for a 3 months holiday then go back home, which is to Hamburg. I very much feels like I'm living here now :-)
