Monday night pub quiz at The Arc

Last night was a good laugh.

Keydeck, you can spell, just differently. And your ball falling out towards the end didn't help either. Thanks for the compliment by the way, the subtext being "because if ye were as thick as you look god help ya !" Parnell, SATC is okay but geting that excited about bulbs ? I dunno. SIM stuck to his guns on the Nirvana front.

Yeah well the brothers of the spud usually stay in a pub untill ejected. But leaving early and having a drink on the way to the bus/tram/taxi is well cool, I'ld never of thought of that.

Just wanted to add my quick word of thanks to the fun and clever people I was teamed with and the fun and clever people surrounding me. Nice to meet Boomtown Rat finally and also to see a few rarer faces.

yes, last night was a classic quiz night
we missed Bucket06, obviously - think we should really have had a triv round on the arctic circle in his honour - but other than that it was a really fun night, great quiz from Dr Matt as ever, and a good natter and chuckles were had afterwards

Our Axis of Evil has been broken up because DW thinks that packing for the movers is more important than the quiz. So we'll be looking for a fourth too. Otherwise we'll have to be satisfied with an Axis of Somewhat Foul-tempered.

Use that knowledge well Keydeck, for in it's core it harbours the potential for great evil and great good.

Typically there's ample opportunity to sort yourself with a team once you get there, shortly before the quiz starts. Might make it myself to the quiz tonight and will need to find a team, not sure yet though.

well, our island nation rep has pleaded migraine (and our dented friend is out getting a new cap), so TCH and I will also be needing 2 new teammates for this eve. I'll be a bit close to the wire in arriving, so if you see a sexy looking guy sitting possibly by himself up front and are looking for a team, introduce yourself to him.
