Anyone planning on hitting the quiz/Arc tonight? Rumor has it Topsy was a little off her feed yesterday, so maybe us mortals might have half a chance tonight...

Absolutely. I stayed off alchohol last 5 days and am ready for a few helles

I'm feeling a little better today, so hopefully we will be able to take revenge for last week's defeat

The wicked evil quartet of Topsy and Co. once again sneaked past us by a point or two. Music round was much better last night. Wish there were more teams though.

Paul: come down any monday. Quite a few of us here are regulars, and have fixed teams, but there is always room on a random team, which may or may not have anything to do with TT.

Me and the wifey will probably show and are also Teamless In Seattle, so maybe we'll snag Paul 1275 and whip everybody but good!

there is actually a prize for coming second from last, as well, so even if you are crap you could still win something
and the drinks rounds (win 4 pints of helles for your team) are more or less pure guesswork, so everybody is in with a chance

Clyde, You have several rounds with 6 questions in each round. Categories include but not limited to Geography, Science and Tech, Arts and Lit, Sports, Current events, Music etc. Plus there are special rounds, beer rounds etc.

i think quiz newbies should be required to buy a round for the winning team from the previous week, personally

@CB - yes, it's an 8pm start (well, in theory - it's quite often 10 or 15 minutes later)

Well, I was actually off alcohol for 143 days untill Saturday when I had a wee bit of a scare and just had to have a drink. Went right through untill 7 in the morning and suffered yesterday for it so I won't be drinking, but don't have any problems buying beer for the winning team if that's the way it works.
