Monday night pub quiz at The Arc

We got 6 out of 6 in the sport when we played our joker, then got 11 and 10 in the visual and music rounds. Would have got 12 in the visual if I had not insisted that Ceasar was AD

Couple of points, we would have won something. Madame roots would have gotten at least 8 of the damn "current MTV hits" music round. Well, we tried and as always we had fun.

Well, our team was firmly seated in the middle of the list, neither an almost win nor the shit spot. Point was, however, we had loads of fun. It was great to see some people I didn't even expect to. Definitely a nice night. Wish I'd made it to some more of these before the time ran out...

Too many new stars last night--IPJ, Mr. IPJ, Gen and the star of all stars, Sin, the one and only who I met for the first time. Sin thought the entire quiz was rigged btw and gave me some conspiracy theory which I didn't quite understand

I hope the following weeks will have just as many teams or more.

Sin was there which one was he? At least I got to meet a few other TT regulars who I hadn't seen before and finally joined the winning team

@Roots - when you get a question for 4 bleedin' points that asks "Which Shakespeare play starts with the words 'Now is the winter of our discontent.'?" After a 2 point question which asks "Who was Hamlet's best friend?" what do you expect? My blood boiled all night on that one.

I had fun, yeah, the music round sucked, but we did manage 2 on that one. Also got Gwen Stefani. The visual was easy too. Getting third for a throw together team was not bad. A girlfriend stopped by and she ended up on the Winning Team!
