Think I'm ready to make an Arc appearance again - now that snow & ice have gone

Is there Pub quiz tonight?

Yes, though many of those who are regularly in attendance won't be there tonight.

How come?

Other obligations/being abroad. My usual team is down to only 2 at the moment

I'll be there watching the Sox game, which according to NASN starts at 8:30pm.. but who knows, they change their schedule way too much

Just a reminder that there will be no quiz on 25 April. Dr Matt's wife is expecting a baby any day now.

25 April is also ANZAC day so we'll be doing something for that...

the first isn't a good reason. by the time the baby is delivered he could have finished the quizz, and even thrown in a guess the baby's name bonus question. get a hold of your staff hazza.

Just a 1 week break at this stage.

Obviously longer term, whether we continue in summer or not depends on whether people keep showing up for it...

I'm hosting it because Matt's wife had a baby girl on Thursday. We're both writing the questions though and he should be back in his full capacity next week.

Last week it was just me, Topsy and bucket06 in our team. We didn't win but at least I was told by Topsy and bucket that I justified my inclusion in the team

I may try and make it (which I've said the last 2 times. and not). Been trying to get on Topsy's team for months.

I'll be there, trying to round up the same team as last time. Bloody linked round got us last time out, 0 out of 6 and we still finished in a tie for 2nd!!

How many people are allowed on a team now? I always thought it was 4, so we kept our team to that. But if the limit has been increased, maybe we can expand a bit and once again have a chance against the bigger teams.

I noticed that last week, several teams of more than 4!!

There were only two teams last week with 4 or fewer members, I do believe.
I'm not bothered if the rules have changed, just so long as we know. We can increase our team size, then, as well.
I remember when the quiz first started they were dead strict, but now it seems big teams (6 or more) are the norm.

I just go there cuz I enjoy quizzes. Never expected to win cuz I never had a full team. Itz all about fun.
