it was great fun! I was sooo tired but the atmosphere was good and the beers helped to wake me up And we came second!

Well done to my team, apart from guessing horses do dressage before they get muddy in the other events, I was pretty useless!

OK, it's been a couple of weeks since I've been, but am gonna make the pub quiz tonight. Spoke to Harry yesterday who assures me that the quiz will definitely end by 10:30pm. (Recently, the quiz has been starting later and later, and therefore finishing later). Anyone else going tonight?

Wish I could make this one as it wont require a board to play But I will be in Brussels.

Yeah, I spoke with Dr Matt last night. I'd heard from a few people that the breaks were too long and the quiz was finishing too late, which is why they stopped going.

So the instruction for this (and every subsequent quiz) is to finish by 10:30 at the absolute latest.

Last night was the last quiz for the year.

Dr Matt will be back in the new year. Details here.

We had about 8 teams show up. Plus a small group who were there later and played darts instead.

We were happy for the first one post X-mas

The "Bar Hookers" almost won. At least 2nd place paid for my dinner, and winning the jackport paid for most of my beer.

We're going to change the format for the jackpot a bit. If more than one team get it right from now on, we won't give it away at all, and it will jackpot again the following week...
