yeah, we gambled on the 4-2-1 round, in the hope that it might win us the Jägermeister (even though I think it's one step up from vom), but we got the flippin question wrong.
Grape's got to be better than Jägermeister, surely?

No, Grape isn't better than Jaeger.

For the simple reason that you have to drink down a whole .3 liters or something of the Grape, where you can toss back a shot and chase it with some water or something and not even taste it.

And at 2.5% alcohol content, you've not even earned much for your blood-alcohol level once you've choked down just the one bottle of Grape.

This is not to say I didn't drink my own Grape. It was free, after all!

Next Monday Dr Matt will be away and I shall be hosting the quiz in his place.
So if you are around please come on down and show your support. Newcomers are particularly welcome seeing as this is my first time doing the quiz as well.

Congrats to SiM for holding a successful pub quiz last night.

Dr Matt is back tonight.

He's coming to the final stretch of his stay in Munich. By the end of September he'll be gone for good.

After that, Darren (who did the quiz last week) will be taking over.

I'll be there tonight. Gotta enjoy the last few weeks while he is here. I just hope I can do half a good a job as he has done.
