2 people going to a bar together is hardly an embarassing situation. Maybe you'll get a response, but you can still go if you don't.

quiz starts at 8pm, so maybe you should plan to get there by then?

Does it matter if we go there several min. later? I'm not sure of the
S-Bahn.

obviously you can still turn up at the pub and meet people and have a drink and listen to the questions. If you turn up after it has started then it may be difficult to sign up for the quiz or find a team though. From my limited knowledge is probably doesn't start at exactly 8 but 8.30 could be a little late

Jul 24 2006, 3:10 pm
Well, if you want to take part and join a team, then generally it would help if you were there from the begining.
No
S-bahn in that direction. You need the 27
tram or
U2.

I know it's near Uni. I was there once in the last winter. But both of us will go there by
S-Bahn, then
U-Bahn. Thanks for your reminder anyway.

Of course not. Now that we know you're coming, I'm sure no one will mind waiting for you.

What is the team situation tonight ? Anybody looking for a mascot, you answer the questions and while you're busy I'll eat your food ?

Thanks, nice folks. I think we'll be there at 20:30. But please don't delay the game once we were too late. I need to pick up my friend from an
S-Bahn station after work and then go to Arc together. She hasn't been to many places in the city center. It's fine to be just listeners. Last time our team was a bit down coz I made a wrong answer.

Last time I got the "landmine" question right, which lost our team a couple of points, but we managed to win anyway!

Jul 24 2006, 4:37 pm
Hey Nick, did you say that your right answer still took your points away?

Really?
Got caught by my colleague when I was browsing the forum. He knows my username now. I thought I could keep it as my only secret in the office.
Uncle Nick
Jul 24 2006, 4:42 pm
There was a maximum of 5 points for 6 questions in that round, not only did you not get a point for the "landmine" question, if you got it right, you lost a further point!
strawberry
Jul 24 2006, 4:54 pm
not got your point yet. You meant one can only get 5 points at maximum, even if he could make all 6 answers right? If so, you wouldn't be too worried if I'm counted in.
Uncle Nick
Jul 24 2006, 9:13 pm
If you got 5 questions right, you get 5 points, but then also got the "landmine" (6th question) right then 1 point would be deducted, leaving you with only 4 points.

Thanks, Nick. Sorry that we stayed there only for several minutes. Actually I just wanna help my friend walk out of some troubles recently. One cannot always feel down in his own shadow. She asked me to talk with her at home, so I agreed. Hope you had fun yesterday.

I´m not sure, but I don´t think so - there weren´t many people there last time, I think there might be a summer break, I´ll ask Hazza.

you can still hit girlies below the belt, comfortable it is not (although we don't have painful floppy bits on the outside, admittedly...)
@lost aussie - being more fun and clever than yer average Brit isn't really that much of a recommendation

Easy to find TT'ers. Nearly everyone there is a TT'er and if not, just ask the barstaff and they'll point 'em out to you.

well, the quiz was fab last night, many thanks to my team mates for a fun evening

Topsy, don't feel bad. Winning "Grape" is worse than winning nothing.
Nah, not really, but one of my teammates made Dr. Matt drink the rest of his!
